TWR filters incorporate three different unique filtration technologies into just 1 filter:
 
Ultra Filtration Film (UF) 0.08 micron - with NSF certification according to standard 42 . The 1st filtration step consists of an excellent and efficient 0.08 micron precision membrane which retains most particles larger than 0.08um and 99.9999% of bacteria and contaminants.
Pressed Activated Carbon (Carbon Block) micron - with NSF certification according to the standards 42 & 53.  The 2nd filtration stage consists of high quality pressurized activated carbon which retains chlorine, chemicals, heavy metals such as lead, SOCs (Synthetic Organic Chemicals) such as pesticides and insecticides, VOCs , methylene chloride, tetrachloroethylene, toluene, xylene and 1,3-butadiene, etc. The removal of these pollutants eliminates unpleasant odors and improves the taste of your water.
Electro Positive Filter - NSF certified according to standard 42.  The 3rd stage consists of the new electro-positive filter technology which uses positive / negative charge for filtration, thus maintaining a high flow rate and a lower pressure drop. This filter removes 99.9% of viruses.
